Chiang Mai based MPlus, the premier organisation serving the gay, bisexual, lesbian and transgender communities in Northern Thailand, yesterday staged a number of events to promote awareness of gay issues for Valentines day
Mr. Phongpheera Phatpheeraphong – The President of M Plus Foundation announced his campaign for Valentine’s Day by giving free condoms at Tha Phae Gate, Chiang Mai accomp-anied by a group of young and beautiful supporters in fancy dresses. MPlus also seized the opportunity of Prime Minister Yingluck Shinwatra’s visit to Chaing Mai to present her with a letter pushing for a new Sexual Diversity Bill in Thailand. The day continued with the symbolic celebration of the weddings of several gay male couples in Chiang Mai city.
The final activity of the day for MPlus was a Valentines day stage show event at See Man Pub, Chiang Mai.
