R & A Bar is a fun new gay owned and gay friendly bar in Chiang Mai’s Santitham Plaza lively bar and entertainment complex in Chang Puek district. It is owned by khun Run (Former manager at Soho Bar) and his partner. It is only a short walk from Sabbai Dee Santitham restaurant too.

David Sampson – RIP

RIP David Sampson, owner Compass and formerly West restaurants in Chiang Mai. David passed away peacefully this morning in Australia. He will be sadly missed by many in Chiang Mai’s gay ex-pats community.
