Welcome Back!

We’re sure regular visitors to this site have noticed it’s been very quiet this last month. The reason is not just that Chiang Mai has been quiet; it always is in September, but also we have been busy behind the scenes making many changes. First and foremost, we’ve added a new Gay Guide to Chiang Mai on this site to complement the one on our sister site radchada.com We’ve also made quite a few layout and other changes too.

Whilst outwardly the new guide may not seem much different, it is easier to maintain and will allow us to expand the information available and make it easier to search. Over the coming weeks we expect to introduce more changes to the design and layout of the site as well as more detailed information in the Guide. The intention being to provide you, our readers, with a better service and experience.

To see the new guide pages select from the drop down menu under Gay Scene Overview at the top of this page (e.g the new bars page is . We hope you like the new format, we’ve tried to reduce the complexity of each page by providing much of the descriptive information about the venues in pop up windows which appear when you move the mouse over the menu title. There is also links for a pop up map showing the location, and a link to all the articles on gay in Chiang Mai that reference that venue.

It is important for us to get feedback on what our readers think of the site and suggestions on improvements. All comments are therefore most welcome. Now we’ve got the upgrades complete we expect to cover more news items in the next few days too.
