Weather Warning
Like last year, where the Yee Peng – Loy Khratong parades narrowly escaped a dousing which hit other parts of Chiang Mai, the government’s Meteorological Department has issued a weather warning for this weekend from 15- 17 November due to a tropical depression passing across the country. For Chiang Mai the chance of thunderstorms is 50% for today and 40% for Saturday. Sunday should be dry but partly coudy with a chance of storms again on Monday (source: Weather Underground for Chiang Mai, Thailand)
