The fabulous cool season weather that Chiang Mai is famous for has finally arrived in time for the Loy Khratong festival or Yee Peng as it’s called in Northern Thailand. In the last few months there has been something of an explosion in gay life in Chiang Mai. In April, Super Gay Club: G-Star Vintage arrived in Chiang Mai and has proceeded to take the city by storm. G-Star, with its professional show featuring ladyboys and some extremely handsome coyote boy dancers has become easily the most popular gay venue in Chiang Mai. G-star is located in Chang Puek district close to other gay bars, restaurants and accommodation.
The rapid growth in Chiang Mai, and rampant construction continues un-abated. The coming weeks will see a couple of new mega malls opening in Chiang Mai which will further change the landscape. You can read more in our latest news from gay Chiang Mai article for more details.
