This week on Thursday 2nd August Asalha Bucha Day is a lunar buddhist holiday honouring the Buddhas first sermon and Friday 3rd August is Khao Phansa, the day monks retreat to their temples for the rainy season.
The sale of alcohol is restricted on these days, expect all bars and entertainment venues to be closed on these days, along with many restaurants.
We are told by the boys at Radchada Garden Café they will be closed from Tuesday 31st July until Friday (inclusive) and will re-open to see you all for breakfast on Saturday 4th August.
