Saturday 23rd of June will be election day in Chiang Mai for the Provinical Administration Organisation. As usual a ban on the sale of alcohol will be in place with no alcohol sold from 6 p.m. on the preceding evening until after the elections. This means all bars and many restaurants will be closed; according to Police sources this ban will be rigorously enforced for these elections. Even restaurants that sell alcohol are expected to close.
Radchada Garden Café will be closed from 6 p.m. on Friday 22 June and re-open for breakfast at 10 a.m. on Sunday 24 June.
