This week marks the sixth anniversary of the senseless murder of our friend and neighbour David Crisp at his home here. A musician and teacher originally from the UK David had retired to live in Chiang Mai and was well known around the gay scene.

Upgrading at Soho Bar

Soho Bar, Restaurant and Guest House, which recently celebrated its tenth anniversary, has established itself as one of the most preferred spots for gay Chiang Mai ex-pats and tourists to socialise. They have recently upgraded their services and facilities with the introduction of a new upstairs lounge, redesigned restaurant menu and some handsome staff.

Cabaret at Ram Bar

Starting 30 January Ram bar, one of the friendliest gay bars in Chiang Mai, will be presenting a high energy Cabaret show every Friday and Saturday night. Show Time 11 p.m.

It’s mid January 2015 and the next week has many gay events in Chiang Mai: parties at Soho Bar and Adam’s Apple Club, 17 at Club One Seven and live music at The Pub’ Sunday roast.

Paedophile’s Dirty Laundry

On 8 January Thai Police Region 5 held a Press Conference announcing the arrest of a pimp allegedly supplying young boys to foreign gay paedophiles in Chiang Mai. This followed the arrest last September of a US citizen.
